Hey, I’m Meg — Meg The Therapist.
I’m a licensed mental health counselor with over 25 years of experience… and a strong belief that therapy, wellness, and personal growth shouldn’t feel stiff, silent, or out of reach.
Traditional therapy teaches us to sit back, stay neutral, and say very little.
I built my career — and my reputation — by doing the opposite. There is a better way of helping people make changes, and that is by being a part of the human experience.
I speak honestly. I connect deeply. I mix science, story, humor, and real-life tools that people can actually use. I don’t just help people talk about change…
I help them feel it, move it, and live it. HEAL it.

MY STORY (THE SHORT VERSION)
I didn’t learn this from textbooks alone.
I grew up in Brockton, raised by a hardworking single mom, navigating financial stress, trauma, and real-life challenges early on. By the time I was 10, I had survived a near-fatal car accident, a long recovery, and experiences that forced me to grow up fast.
I became the first in my family to go to college.
Worked multiple jobs.
Built a career.
Built a life.
And then… like many people…
I rebuilt it.
Today, I’m a proud mom of three incredible kids — Aidan, Asher, and Alana — and everything I teach comes from both professional expertise and lived experience.
I don’t speak from a pedestal.
I speak from the trenches… with a flashlight 🙂
